The Chef
Born on the shores of Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela, Kiki fell in love with cooking when she baked her first loaf of bread at the age of 13. After finishing university, she jumped into the culinary scene, starting in cozy cafes and organic bars.
Her journey took her to co-own a cafe in Mérida, where her passion for exploring new horizons as a chef truly blossomed. This adventure eventually brought her to Dubai, where she refined her skills at a renowned Peruvian restaurant Coya.
Kiki then transformed the kitchen at Seva Table - an award winning vegan cafe, creating dishes infused with macrobiotic and Ayurvedic influences, and developed over 300 recipes for Root'D - a 100% plant-based meal plan company.
Now, she enjoys freelancing as a menu developer, private chef, and a kitchen consultant, crafting delicious plant-based meals while always expanding her culinary expertise.
The Mission
Kiki is dedicated to exploring the true essence of health through a holistic approach. With over a decade of experience, she has studied a wide range of wellness traditions, from Ayurveda to macrobiotics, raw and whole plant-based foods, superfoods, adaptogens, and medicinal mushrooms. By integrating these principles into her kitchen, Kiki creates functional recipes that unlock the power of plants.
Her mission is to share the transformative magic of nature with others, adding a personal touch of guaguancó—Venezuelan soul and flavor—to every dish.
